Phew

I guess it's a busy period for everybody

Over the past few days there're things I wanted to post

The bridge testing

My utmost joy at Man Utd's victory in the Champions League Final last Thursday

The pausing of my heartbeat when I read something I should have read earlier

My agony at watching Kimi's race yesterday -.-

But looking at the amount of time I use to finish a post

I decided not to ~_~

Bad Day

Note that I'm not pointing specifically at anyone with my post

What a F day

F not for any kind of vulgarity

But it's F for Frustating

A Frustating Day

Hmm I guess I kept this to myself for very long time di

Over and over again

My patience got tested

Since day 1,

All our effort

All our headaches,

All the time we spent to come out with a design,

All the troubles we'd gone through calculating all the trash we believed would never be accurate,

All the paperworks,

Has all gone to waste

A blueprint from us was there, but never it was followed

Permission for variation was never sought

"It's too difficult to make", "It's not strong enough"

Not strong enough? Only they know whether they have tested. I don't know

Alright, fine. Come up with a different one then

Came the submission date, and it was rejected for overweighing

Decision was to redesign, and rebuild

During discussion

Whatever I said

Whatever I proposed

They just won't listen

That's not the whole reason

Rejections came without better idea from the opposite direction

I don't know how to explain la,

Put yourself in my shoes just now then you might understand how exactly I felt

Then we decided to have it like that

But before going home, they tried to convince that that won't work

We insisted to have it that way

I guess in desperation they admitted that Final Exam is near, so.. need not for me to continue

What do we have to say?

Upon hearing that, I just walked away from there

I guess they made a good point, Final Exam is near

Busy wor

But I think we deserve to have a bit more respect also

I saw nothing we planned was ever carried out

Not allowing any room for any creativity

Might as well leave everything to them to do lah

I can't be too selfish also, it's not like I've helped them in the construction

I'm very tired with all these already

Just let it pass la don't care le

To come to think of it again, I don't find any reason for me to be so frus also lah haha. But, still sigh.

Those who came to read these, I hope you guys can just keep it to yourself lah. I would appreciate that, greatly.

And no offence to anyone, I mean it from the bottom of my heart

HOI Don't Rain Please!

The post title would seem familiar to some haha. I wrote because there's a BBQ just now

The reason why was because this morning when I drove home after breakfast with Mum, I heard the weather forecast on the radio, expecting "thunderstorm" in Miri -_-''' That of course made me worried la;

BBQ + rain = disaster -.-

And the sky was cloudy throughout the day

The BBQ was organised by CUTEC, for members only.

Actually it was initially planned that a few of us should be the ones doing the barbecuing. But but I'm noob in these things. In the end most of my other friends did it. For me, all I did was fan-ing, fan-ing and more fan-ing haha.

After about 2-3 hours looking and fan-ing I think I know how to start the fire di. I think only la.

Done panggang-ing, done eating, then everyone had their own time lo. There's a game session, but half of the orangs all ran away haha. It's basically having a paper attaached on your back, and everyone is free to write anything on it. In the end most of us also played la.

They said I'm probably the most hated guy because my paper's all filled with craps and trash haha. Wanted to post it here, but after giving it a second thought I decided not to -.-

Emptiness

These few days in campus, look around for a boy

Mood seems to desert me recently

I don't know why

Maybe I lack sleep

Maybe I'm stressed out

Maybe I'm too worried, because I know where I stand in preparation towards going into the exam room to attempt three damned units' of questions

Simply maybe my stubborn-ness has taken its toll..

Emptiness is exactly what I'm feeling right now

I don't know where to get my source of motivation anymore

A special post tributed to my elder sister

It's her birthday today!

Honestly hmm

I only remembered when I saw the Friendster reminder message in my inbox LOL

But she's very nice to me actually

With me being a rather not-so-independant type of people, she really took care of me when both parents aren't home;

Making sure my meals are in-tact and also cook for me;

Making sure I had transport to move about (she fetched me a lot from school, tuition and and and going to other places)

I think no brothers, ever, had eaten more chocolate bought by his sister than me haha.

Really, if she goes somewhere, she'll get something for me, as well as everyone under the same roof^^

Hmm chocolates, making sure my tummy is filled; haha I know it sounds silly and childish

The fact is, I treasure it at the bottom of my heart.

So sorry if I've been an ass to you Sis! haha

Another Day

Today is 6th of May. Not a specifically special date/occasion but as I look back, wow


Time Really Flies..

Final exam is about a month away. Still long la haha.

But I know, I know, if I don't want repeat the same mistake of leaving thing all to the last minute, it's time to start doing something!

And to look ahead, busy times are coming: cars and bridges, presentations, assignments.

Testy time they will be. Fingers crossed, Teh ftw!

Bakun & SMDS

I'm more than a week late to post this. Attempted several times to start posting, but each time my brain just went blank haha.

During last week's free week, CUTEC Club (I think it stands for Curtin University of Technology Engineering Club. correct me if I'm wrong -.-) organised a trip to these two places. SMDS is located near Bintulu, and Bakun I think it's a lot further. Forgot le haha. In case you don't know, SMDS stands for Shell Middle Distillate Synthesis. The operations are basically about doing stuffs with natural gas. Yah, nothing else but natural gas.

The use of handphone and cameras are quite limited here for safety reason so I can't show you anything from the site. Only managed to get some shots in front of the main building -.-

After SMDS, we checked in the hotel. Ok ok de lah haha. While waiting for dinner we took some time strolling around the place near waterfront there

Next up was the visit to Bakun the next day. It's going to be 2nd highest(biggest?) dam of its kind, as explained by one the engineers. Before going there I knew that place is big. But when I got there, I was surprised to see how much bigger that place is actually haha.

This dam can be considered as a mega structure for its size I guess. From my inquiries, the dam is 60% done, and will start operating in 2012.

After a briefing from an engineering, we were taken up to the site using 4WD vehicles.

After the site visit, we coasted back straight to Miri. It was a rather informative trip. Had some fun as well^^ Maybe 2 days 1 night a bit too short but it's okay la.

Looking forward to more trips in the future.
